Shagafoot Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel is Hampton Inn Suites Alexandria, and there are plenty of folks from Alexandria here at Shagafoot Lake. Why not go to a swamp like Clear Lake if you're       here at Shagafoot Lake, and the Lake Nature Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Wild Azalea Trail is always a good adventure. Near Shagafoot Lake you hit upon the Wild Azalea Trail Kincaid Spur which is a delightful hiking trail, and Deloges Bluff is a magnificent location to check out while in the neighborhood. A lake close by is Bush Lake, and Shagafoot Lake is magnificent enough to spend more                  than a day at, Cotile Recreation Area is a magnificent local campground. During the summertime months highs here at Shagafoot Lake get into the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Shagafoot Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Shagafoot Lake has to offer.
