Cedar Bluff is an out of the ordinary place to take a look at while at Saline Lake, and Saline Lake is a nice place to camp, Cloud Crossing Campground is a nice place. You'll meet a lot of folks from Natchitoches here, and Saline Lake is right by the Dogwood Trail. For the period of the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Saline Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.       The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; overnight lows at Saline Lake through the wintertime frequently fall into the 30's. Saline Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls all through May, and August is the month with the least moisture. Camping at Saline Lake is pleasant fun, Gum Springs Campground and Picnic Area is a pleasant local campground, and taking a little tour to nearby Benjamin Point is a perfect idea.                  If you need a site to stay Natchitoches-Days Inn is a great choice; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Saline Lake Dam. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time.
