If you need a place to stay McKay House is a splendid choice, and Kilgore Slough is an attention-grabbing swamp near Round Lake. All through the long       summer days at Round Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Round Lake dip into the 30's. Round Lake is not the only location close by, Boggy Lake is a close by lake, and you can stay the night at Huxley Bay Marina.
