Sibley Lake Mini Mart is a wonderful campground here, and swamps like Bayou Couchinaha right next door to Round Lake make for magnificent spots to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Round Lake is tremendous fun, Nakatosh Campground is a tremendous local campground, and after a long day outdoors Riverview Inn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. People from Natchitoches love       to come to Round Lake, and there are delightful spots to discover along the Dogwood Trail. Through the warm months at Round Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's, and overnight lows at Round Lake through the winter generally sink into the 30's. Any time is a nice time at Round Lake if you go for the outdoors. Don't forget to take a                  fine little visit to Campti Bayou, and dry warm beds await you at Natchitoches Super 8 Motel.
