The warmest time of the       year brings highs in the 90's to Round Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Round Lake. Cottonwood Chute is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and a great place to camp here at Round Lake is Lakeside Resort Motel. All the water falling down from the sky makes Round Lake a wet site; the month with most of the rain is December, and the                  driest of the months is September.
