There's some flowing water nearby, Bayou L' Embarras is a stream you can check out while you're here; Lake Rond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Fausse Pointe State Park is a great local campground. Here at Lake Rond you'll probably meet some folks from New Iberia; a splendid nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites New Iberia. Why not go to a swamp like Bayou Benoit       while you're here at Lake Rond, and a fine location to camp here at Lake Rond is Belmont Campgrounds. For the duration of the summer months at Lake Rond highs are typically in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Lake Rond. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Lake Rond. Much rainfall falls at Lake Rond; July is when                  you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest.
