High temperatures at Lake Rond throughout the summer are in the 90's while nighttime lows are usually in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Lake Rond. Why not camp at Belmont Campgrounds since you're here at Lake Rond, and the cheerful folks of New Iberia like to hang out nearby. Lots of rain falls at Lake Rond; the       month with most of the rain is July while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps are interesting places and Bayou Benoit near Lake Rond is no exception, and naturally Bayou L' Embarras is a delightful stream that is worth checking out. If you need a place to stay Best Western Inn & Suites is a pleasant choice; a scenic lake like Fish Coulee is a good place to check out.
