Some of the water nearby flows, like Big Bayou Friejon, and Saline Bayou Campground is a perfect campground here. Racoon Lake is a magnificent place to camp, Paragon Casino Resort is a magnificent place. Racoon Lake gets a large amount of water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. Why not stop by a swamp like Nolan       Bayou since you're here at Racoon Lake, and a great close by hotel is Terrace Inn Motel. The warmest time of the year at Racoon Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 70's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Racoon Lake are in the 30's.
