This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Postens Lake, you'll locate Halfmoon Lake which is a scenic lake; since you're here at Postens Lake, checking out Boom Bend is a must. All the water falling down from the sky makes Postens Lake a wet site; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is August. It's a nice idea to pop by Dry Fork, it's in close       proximity to Postens Lake, and after a long day outdoors Country Inn Motel is a great site to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Postens Lake is peerless!. At Postens Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 90's; the overnight is slightly colder of course, generally in the 70's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Postens Lake drop into the                  30's. Old Bed Rotten Lake is a great site; Potter's Point Marina is a glorious campground here.
