During the long summer days at Plantation Lake highs are regularly in the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The wintertime       brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Plantation Lake dipping down into the 40's during winter nights. Much rain falls at Plantation Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. Warehouse Bayou is a swamp close to Plantation Lake, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby New Iberia. This lake is so wonderful.
