It's always fun to stop by Petit Lac. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Petit Lac. Petit Lac is a reasonably wet place mostly with a lot of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Haha Bay next to Petit Lac, and you'll meet a lot of folks from New Iberia here.

| | Fausse Pointe State Park, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites New Iberia is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. A perfect nearby hotel is Best Western Inn & Suites, and needless to say Bayou L' Embarras flows through this region. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Petit Lac, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Petit Lac.
