There's some flowing water close by, Bayou L' Embarras is a stream you can explore during your stay. Lakes are tremendous; Lake Rond is a lake that's close to Petit Lac. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Fish Coulee is a lake close at hand, and Petit Lac is       great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Fausse Pointe State Park is a great local campground. Much precipitation falls at Petit Lac; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to Petit Lac, you might not ever wanna return home again. La Quinta Inn and Suites New Iberia is a wonderful spot to get some rest. On a brilliant day you can explore Bayou Benoit, a swamp                  in the vicinity of Petit Lac, and you're sure to run into some friendly folks from New Iberia here.
