This lake is so wonderful. River View RV Park and Resort is a good campground nearby, and a swamp like Boggy Bayou close to Parish Lake has lots of interesting things to see. Much rainfall falls at Parish Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain, and September on the other hand is the driest. During the summertime, highs regularly are in the 90's at       Parish Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Parish Lake. Lakes are such serene places, why not visit Cocodrie Lake in the neighborhood of Parish Lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Vidalia is a nice place to spend a night or two.
