A beautiful lake like Eagle Lake in the neighborhood of Lake Pagie is a tremendous place to visit. Much precipitation falls at Lake Pagie; most of the rain falls during July; October is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and don't miss out on a good swamp; Bayou Chevreau is right here at Lake Pagie. Bayou De Cade is       a good local stream, and camping at Linda's Camping is always a good experience. High temperatures at Lake Pagie during the days of summer are in the 90's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, usually in the 70's.
