Bear Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and the vistas at Poverty Point National Monument will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a look at close by Panola Bayou if you're here at Lake One, and after a long day outdoors Don Hall S Guesthouse is a nice spot to spend a night or two. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake One. Summertime brings highs in       the 90's to Lake One. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lake One. Lake One is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Bruin Campground is a magnificent local campground; if you need a place to stay Tallulah-Days Inn is a splendid choice.
