Old River Lake gets a lot of water; through the month of December you get the most rain around here; September is the month with the least moisture. A fine place to camp here at Old River Lake is Lake Bruin Campground, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Tallulah. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Old River Lake. When the       night sets in temperatures sink down into the 70's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Old River Lake fall into the 30's.
