Here at Old Lake you'll most likely meet some folks from Natchitoches; lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Porters Lake. The warmest time of the year at Old Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while Old Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. After       a long day outdoors Budget Inn is a delightful site to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Sibley Lake Mini Mart. The high level of rainfall makes Old Lake a rather wet site; May is the wettest month with most rain; August is when it's the driest.
