Bringhurst Golf Course is a wonderful golf course close by, and there's fine hiking along the Wild Azalea Trail Kincaid Spur. During the warm days of summer here at Oden Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 70's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 50's, and overnight lows at Oden Lake during the wintertime typically fall into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.       Ramada Limited Alexandria Airport is a perfect location to get some rest, and Oden Lake is not far at all from Alexandria. Oden Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Indian Creek Recreation Area is a great spot to camp nearby, and there are wonderful sites to discover along the Magnolia Forest Walk. Stay the night at Best Western Inn, and hey, Rocky Bayou is a glorious local stream. A good deal of precipitation falls at Oden Lake; the month                  with most of the rain is December, and October is the month with the least moisture. Any time is a fine time at Oden Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors.
