Summer brings highs in the 90's to Muddy Lake with overnight lows in the 70's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Muddy Lake are in the 30's. If you're dropping by Muddy Lake from Shreveport-Bossier City, you won't be the only one, and if you came to camp Hilltop Campgrounds is a tremendous site to do that. Taking a little spree to close by Eagle       Bend Point is a nice idea; of course, this is a fine region for folks who like lakes, Pruitts Lake is a lake around here. There's so much to do here at Muddy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maplewood Park is a brilliant spot for that, and Bossier City - Days Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest. A good deal of rain falls at Muddy Lake; the month with most of the rain is November while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  This lake is so wonderful. Olde Oaks Golf Club is a golf course right next door to Muddy Lake, and a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Shreveport.
