Muddy Lake is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while September is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Olde Oaks Golf Club is a nice golf course nearby, and after a long day outdoors Sheraton Shreveport Hotel is a good spot to spend       a night or two. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Muddy Lake has it all. Muddy Lake is not the only site nearby, Sunny Point Lake is a nearby lake. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Muddy Lake                  plunge into the 30's.
