A magnificent nearby hotel is American Inn, and Mountain Bayou Lake is not the only place close by, Chicota Lake is a close by lake. Throughout the summer here at Mountain Bayou Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 70's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for       Mountain Bayou Lake.
