You don’t have to go far from Mira Pond to observe the water at Mira Pond Dam, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pineywoods Inn. Potter's Point Marina is a great campground nearby, and Palmetta Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. At Mira Pond through the warm months highs are in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Mira Pond night low temperatures during the winter

| | are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Mira Pond is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Pelican Lodge Catfish Restaurant is a glorious place to camp nearby, and some nearby water includes Flag Branch.
So many entertaining things to do here at Mira Pond, too delightful to be true. A lake close by is Hosston Lake, and Old Bed Horseshoe Lake is a delightful location to check out. Mira Pond gets a great deal of water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest.
