While you're here at Mill Creek Reservoir, you could also check out wonderful Kepler Creek Lake, and the scenery at Mill Creek Dam is beautiful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Natchitoches is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Cloud Crossing Campground is a great local campground, and lots of people from Saline come here. Do go to Black Lake in the vicinity of Mill Creek Reservoir, it's a charming lake. Mill Creek Reservoir     sees pretty high levels of precipitation. Of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; August on the other hand is the driest.   Mill Creek Reservoir runs east to west, is about 2.5 miles long and 1/4 miles wide with good water quality.
