Summer at Middle Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Middle Lake are in the 30's. After a long day outdoors Best Western       Plaquemine Inn is a good place to spend a night or two; you'll find a pretty lake called The Brakes. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Middle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bayou Bait Shop. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Magnolia Manor; lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Lower Flat.
