Throughout the months of summer at Lake Maisson temperatures are frequently in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Lake Maisson are in the 30's. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Lake Maisson is excellent!. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Maisson has to offer, you can camp at       Willow-mar, and if you need a site to stay La Quinta Inn New Orleans East is a pleasant choice. There's so much to do here at Lake Maisson that you need to camp here for a while, Willow Mar Travel Park is a perfect place for that, and swamps can be such exciting locations, explore Cane Bayou since you're here at Lake Maisson. Lake Maisson mostly gets a lot of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year                  is October. Here at Lake Maisson you'll perhaps meet some people from New Orleans -Metairie-Kenner; a trip to Jean Lafitte National Historic Park & Preserve is recommended.
