Through the warmest time of the year at Lake Maisson highs are typically in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 60's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Maisson drop into the 30's. Swamps don’t sound that pleasant but Cane Bayou in close proximity to Lake Maisson is quite pleasant, and after a long day outdoors       Comfort Suites New Orleans is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Lake Maisson is a wet site that gets a good deal of rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Lake Maisson. All our national parks are good sites to have a look at, and Jean Lafitte National Historic Park & Preserve is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Lake                  Antoinne next to Lake Maisson is a perfect spot to check out, and if you came for an overnight stay Willow Mar Travel Park is a pleasant site to camp. Lake Maisson is not far at all from New Orleans -Metairie-Kenner, and La Quinta Inn New Orleans East is a great place to get some rest.
