Summer at Lost Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while night lows are commonly in the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lost Lake are in the 30's. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Why not take a refreshing hike along the       Pirogue Trail, and not far from Lost Lake you'll hit upon Swift Lake which is a wonderful lake. Take a little journey to Cooper Bayou since you're here at Lost Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Pruitt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Niblett's Bluf Park is a good campground nearby; a short tour to Morgan Eddy is always worthwhile. Stay the night at Oak Leaf Park; a magnificent close by hotel is Americas                  Best Value Inn/Orange.
