Long Point Lake typically gets a large amount of precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. During the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Long Point Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Long Point Lake. Man, is there heaps of fun things       to do close to Long Point Lake. Stay the night at Mere's Mobile Home and RV Park. Long Point Bayou is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and Bel's Hackberry Hunting Lodge is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Motel II, and Long Point is relatively close. Take a hike on the Creole Nature Trail, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Lake Charles.
