A great deal of rainfall falls at Long Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is August. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit close by Loggy Bayou while you're here at Long Lake. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Grassy Lake near Long Lake; Budget Inn is a great site to get some rest. Camping at Long Lake is great fun, Grand       Bayou Resort is a great local campground; after a long day outdoors Coushatta Motel & Apartments is a good spot to spend a night or two. During the warm days of summer at Long Lake highs are usually in the 90's; the overnight is rather colder of course, mostly in the 70's.
