Camping is available at River City RV Park, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Rainbow Hotel and Suites. Why not camp at Battlefield Kampground since you're here at Long Lake, and swamps don’t sound that great but Cross Bayou close to Long Lake is reasonably great. At Long Lake through the summer months highs are in the 90's while night lows are generally in the 70's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's with       winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are perfect; Big Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Long Lake, and Tallulah-Days Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Long Lake a rather wet location; throughout December this area sees the most rain; the driest month is September.
