You'll need more than a day to explore everything Long Lake has to offer, you can camp at Saline Bayou Campground. At Long Lake you always meet someone from Natchez. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp       here for a while, Oak Harbor On Lake Concordia is a glorious site for that. A lot of precipitation falls at Long Lake; the month with most of the rain is December, and August meanwhile is the driest month. Through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Long Lake, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 70's.
