All the water falling down from the sky makes Little Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. Swamps don’t sound that magnificent but Little Lake Slough in the vicinity of Little Lake is relatively magnificent. There's       so much to do here at Little Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Saline Bayou Campground is a pleasant location for that, needless to say you could also pop by Willow Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Little Lake has to offer, you can camp at Old River Campground; if you've had enough of Little Lake, Catahoula Lake is nearby. For the duration of the long summer                  days highs here at Little Lake reach the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
