Black Lake is a lake around here; if you're dropping by from Picayune, you won't be the only one. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Little Cannon Lake has it all. Very splendid water scenery is available at Lock Number Two near Little Cannon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn - Picayune is a great location to spend a night or two; since you might be in a lake       visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Cow Hammock Lake. Little Cannon Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PICAYUNE is a delightful place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Little Cannon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy-j Campgrounds is a brilliant                  site for that. Little Cannon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Family Time Resort is a great local campground, and swing by Big Bayou it's a great site to have a look at. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Little Cannon Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's.
