Lake Bistineau
 | 16 miles away 1 PHOTO Lake Bistineau is one of the most beautiful places to fish, any time of the year. Popular for Largemouth Bass and Crappie. At Port of Bistineau, when the bite is on for Crappie, it is not unusual to see 50 boats in the same area! The attached picture were of the only two Crappie we caught this morning, but several people told us the Bass were ON that day and several boats at the ramp said it was good for them. One guy had 32 Largemouth boated and 4 were over 4 pounds and 2 over 5!! Wish I hadda been Bass fishing that day. These Crappie are the usual, and 2 1/2 pounders are common too! If you ever have the opportunity, come and hang around with the peat moss. You will have a good time here, no matter what you are fishing for!... |
