High temperatures at Larto Lake throughout the summer months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Larto Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Larto Lake has to offer, you       can camp at Saline Bayou Campground; stop at nearby Brushy Brake. There's so much to do here at Larto Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Old River Campground is a nice place for that, and do explore Paulk Brake, it's a striking lake. Larto Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during December; August on the other hand is the driest.
