There are other spots here than Kisatchie Lake, for example Lake Buhlow, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Alexandria here. At Kisatchie Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 90's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the       winter at Kisatchie Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. Good hiking is available along the Magnolia Forest Walk, and playing golf is lots of fun at Golf Club at Timber Trails. A good deal of rainfall falls at Kisatchie Lake; December is when you get the most rain here; August on the other hand is the driest.
