Camping is available at Cajun Campground, and Best Western Ville Platte is a delightful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Indian Lake,       you could stop by Bayou Chicot; after a long day outdoors Platte Motel is a glorious location to spend a night or two. At Indian Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's.
