Hubbard Brake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is October. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Robert Brake is right close by, and Hubbard Brake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Chicot State Park       is a wonderful site to camp nearby. So much exciting stuff to do here at Hubbard Brake, too wonderful to be true. A good nearby hotel is Days Inn Alexandria; why not take a refreshing hike along the Magnolia Forest Walk. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Butler Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here, and if you need a site to stay The Bailey Hotel is a great choice.
