All the water falling down from the sky makes Hillcrest Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is October. During the months of summer here at Hillcrest Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly       in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Hillcrest Pond. Family Time Resort is a tremendous local campground; Courtyard By Marriott Covington is a good place to get some rest. There are other spots here than Hillcrest Pond, for example Goodyears Pond; a round of golf at nearby Abita Springs Golf & Country Club is a pleasant way to kill some time.
