This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from Monroe, and some of the water nearby flows, like Bayou de Loutre. Just can't get enough of Hamilton Lake. Hamilton Lake is not the only spot close by, Wall Lake is a close by lake. Hamilton Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is March, and August is the month with the least moisture. Camping is available at Bayou D'Arbonne Camping;       De Loutre Basin is a magnificent site to check out. Why not camp at Bayou Boeuf RV Park while you're here at Hamilton Lake, and if you need a location to stay Shoneys Inn West Monroe is a nice choice. A lake close by is Devils Hole, and after a long day outdoors Atrium Hotel & Suites is a great site to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Hamilton Lake.
