This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Silver Creek Campground is a pleasant site to camp, obviously you could also stop at Reedy Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. All the water falling down from the sky makes Green Lakes a wet site; the month with most of the rain is December       while October is ordinarily the driest month. An afternoon playing golf at Franklinton Country Club is always a joy, and why not camp at Tchefuncte Family Camp Ground while you're here at Green Lakes. So much amusing stuff to do at Green Lakes, so little time. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Green Lakes, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 50's while                  Green Lakes night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's.
