Gin Lake is a wet location that gets a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month of the year is August. After a long day outdoors Budget Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two. At Gin Lake all through       the summer months highs are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Gin Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
