Floating Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is March. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Latania Lake in the vicinity of Floating Lake, it's a scenic lake, and Floating Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Shores RV Park is a good local campground.
