     Take a side spree to Cane River, and Clear Lake is a swamp in the neighborhood of Flag Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Cotile Recreation Area if you're here at Flag Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Lake Nature Trail. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Flag Lake is unbeatable! If you came for an overnight stay Boyce Koa Kampground is a delightful place to camp, and La Quinta Inn and Suites Alexandria is a great  
   place to get some rest. For the duration of the warm months at Flag Lake highs are typically in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Flag Lake.
On a good day at Flag Lake you can take a hike along the Wild Azalea Trail Kincaid Spur, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Walker Lake. There
 
               is a pleasant hiking trail next to Flag Lake called the Wild Azalea Trail; after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Suites Alexandria is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
Flag Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with a good deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lake Morantine is a lake in the vicinity, and if you're dropping by from Alexandria, you won't be the only one.

My husband and I own land on Iatt Lake. The lake has been drained for what reason we do not know. We hear many stories as to the reason behind this. We would like to have the lake re-stocked with fish, as our bass, catfish and blackcrapy have been drained to the Red River. I would like to know if this will happen and also, when will this happen? If you do not know perhaps you could tell me were to go to find out this information. We would also like to know who owns the lake and who is responsible for the re-stocking of the lake?...
