This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Caddo Lake since you're here at Fish Lake; it's nearby. There's so much to do here at Fish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pelican Lodge Catfish Restaurant is a great site for that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Fish Lake.       Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 50's with temperatures at Fish Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Be careful coming to Fish Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Shreveport, and brilliant water scenery is available at Fish Lake Dam in the vicinity of Fish Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to                  do around Fish Lake; Caddo Lake State Park Trail is a nice local trail. Fish Lake is not far at all from Shreveport-Bossier City; Soda Lake Bed is a beautiful spot any time of year. Fish Lake regularly gets lots of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture.
