This lake is       so wonderful. Camping at Lake Fausse Pointe State Park is always a great experience, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by New Iberia. Summertime highs at Lake Fausse Pointe usually tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Lake Fausse Pointe. You have to stop at Cotton Point when you're here at Lake Fausse Pointe,                  and Grand Avoille Cove is a wonderful lake close by.
