POLK is a magnificent place to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Evans Brake a rather wet location; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is September. This lake is so wonderful. It's a good idea to check out Flat Creek, it's right next door to Evans Brake, and a striking lake like Labar Lake is a good       place to pop by. Throughout the warm months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Evans Brake with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Evans Brake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Evans Brake has to offer.
