Summer brings highs in the 90's to Duck Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 70's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Duck Lake descend into the 30's. Duck Lake mostly gets a good deal of rain; December is when you get the most rain here, and September on the other hand is       the driest. People from Tallulah love to come to Duck Lake, and swamps are out of the ordinary places and Mound Bayou right next door to Duck Lake is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lake Bruin Campground since you're here at Duck Lake, and Days Inn is a good place to get some rest.
