Bayou Bay Jaune is a swamp close to Double Bayou Lagoon, and if you came for an overnight stay Whispering Pines Mobile Park is a nice place to camp. Having a good time at Double Bayou Lagoon is trouble-free. New Orleans East Koa is a tremendous campground here. Double Bayou Lagoon gets lots of water; February is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Throughout the summer       months at Double Bayou Lagoon highs are mostly in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Double Bayou Lagoon sink into the 30's.
