Cypress Lake is a good place to camp, Cypress-black Bayou Recreation is a good place; if you want to stop at some attention-grabbing stuff, stop at Hurrican Bluffs. This lake is so wonderful. Maplewood Park is a brilliant campground here, obviously you could also go to Bee Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Cypress Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs       down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Cypress Lake are in the 30's. After a long day outdoors Amber Inn Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. If you need a location to stay David Motel is a nice choice, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Shreveport-Bossier City here.
