What a nice lake Cypress Lake is. Cypress Lake is a good place to camp, Cypress-black Bayou Recreation is a good place; if you want to stop at some attention-grabbing stuff, stop at Hurrican Bluffs. This lake is so wonderful. Maplewood Park is a brilliant campground here, obviously you could also go to Bee Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Cypress Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs

| | down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Cypress Lake are in the 30's. After a long day outdoors Amber Inn Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. If you need a location to stay David Motel is a nice choice, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Shreveport-Bossier City here. Cypress Lake gets much water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is September.
