Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Alligator Lake, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Pirogue Trail. Collicon Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Myers Landing is a good local campground, and needless to say Corp Mound Bayou is a charming stream that is worth checking out. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lots of rainfall falls at Collicon       Lake; the month with most of the rain is July while April is generally the driest month. Not far from Collicon Lake, you'll locate Round Lake which is a lovely lake, and Quality Inn is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Shady Shores RV Park is always a great experience; since you're here you must stop at Blackfish Bay. Through the summer months highs here at Collicon Lake get into the 90's while overnight lows are frequently                  in the 70's.
