Sure, Indian Creek Reservoir is around here. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Wild Azalea Trail Kincaid Spur. Oden Lake is a pleasant lake right next door to Chambers Lake; Days Inn Alexandria is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Chambers Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the       50's with temperatures at Chambers Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Chambers Lake without first going for a hike along the Wild Azalea Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Bringhurst Golf Course. So many entertaining things to do at Chambers Lake, so little time. Why not camp at Indian Creek Recreation Area while you're here at Chambers Lake, and there are great locations to explore                  along the Magnolia Forest Walk. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Alexandria; Chambers Lake is a location with many visitors from Alexandria. Rolling Hills RV Resort is a perfect local campground, and let's not forget Bayou Robert which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay.
