Summertime highs at Lake Buhlow usually tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Buhlow temperatures fall to the 30's. Lake Buhlow gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls through December while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If the weather       is nice here at Lake Buhlow, you can go for a hike along the Wild Azalea Trail, obviously you could also go to Bayou Maria Basin if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Pineville, LA, and hiking along the Magnolia Forest Walk is tremendous fun. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Lake Buhlow is not the only location close by, Pierson Lake is a                  close by lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Cabana Mobile Estates 6101 N. Bolton Ave. is a good place to camp. Best Western Inn is a wonderful local campground; while you're here, you could have a look at Philip Bayou. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Bringhurst Golf Course is close at hand, and going for a hike along the Wild Azalea Trail Kincaid Spur will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
