Here at Brushy Lake you'll perhaps meet some folks from Tallulah. There's so much to do here at Brushy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River Town Campground is a splendid location for that. A great deal of rainfall falls at Brushy Lake; during December this area sees the most rain while September is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Brushy Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rivertown

| | Campground, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn - Vicksburg. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Brushy Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Brushy Lake descend into the 30's.

She loves tent camping in state parks and national battlefields. I know that she was camping at Watega State Park, WV until Sunday (7/30) morning. She is also interested in Civil War battlefields and was at Shiloh National Military Park last week. We think she may be in your area.
